June 24, 2009 Gainesville, Florida ..The Venue Night Club

The atmosphere was very laid back..everybody mingling and kinda doing their own thing.  The event host were very approachable, no one was too small for conversation. 

The artist that performed the up n coming showcase varied in talent levels one that stood out in the crowd was Kandy Kane a female artist from the Ocala area. The Next set of performances were both entertaining and interesting MBeezy’s performance was well put together, Bad Guy ..definitely the angriest lyricist I have heard coming second only to Ascari X had lots of crowd participation which is a plus at any show,  It was hard to enjoy Fly’s performance there were way too many people on stage and for no apparent reason.  If you weren’t familiar with Fly as an artist you couldn’t tell who he was  because of the huge crowd on stage.  Full Klip had great music.  To my surprise there was no performance from Da Commissioner it was greatly missed.

In attendance were too many faces of the independent music scene to name.
